Westhampton Select Board unanimously endorses $500k Proposition 2-1/2 override and approves heat pump upgrades. Chair Susan Bronstein secured board authorization to sign the grant contract for weatherization work at Town Hall and its annex, funded by Green Communities/DOER grant and Eversource incentives. The board also unanimously approved the FY2027 override, though member Scott Johndrow expressed concerns about the regional school district's proposed budget during discussion.
In separate votes, the board authorized Highway Superintendent Bill Jablonski to post a vacant highway operator position starting at $26.65 per hour and declared an old grader as surplus.
