Hampshire County Registry of Deeds recorded 10 transactions involving Westhampton properties between Sept. 4 and Oct. 3. Four carried a sale price so far, ranging from $60,000 to $370,000, with a median of $212,500. The top recorded price was $370,000 for 145 Reservoir Road, sold by Daniel R. and Kathryn S. Crouss. Six of the 10 transactions listed a bank or credit union as buyer or seller, including TruNorth Bank, Florence Bank, Greenfield Cooperative Bank, PeoplesBank and Freedom Credit Union. Two entries, a utility easement and a homestead declaration, were not property sales. Ten recorded transactions over four weeks is a modest pace for the small town.
