Westhampton Deeds Show Sparse Price Disclosures Amid Eleven Recorded Transfers
Eleven property deeds were recorded in Westhampton between July 17 and Aug. 15, but only three disclosed a sale price, according to Hampshire County Registry of Deeds records. Prices ranged from $38,672 to $79,600, with a median of $47,000. The period's highest recorded transaction was 83 Northwest Rd., which sold for $79,600 on July 22 to UMassFive College Federal Credit Union. Northwest Road saw the most activity, with three recorded deeds. Several other transfers involved mortgage-related entities, municipal buyers, or trust and homestead filings rather than open-market sales, meaning the disclosed-price data captures only a small share of the period's overall recorded activity.
