Westhampton Deed Filings Show Limited Sales Data For Late Summer Period
Hampshire County Registry records show 10 documents filed for Westhampton properties between Aug. 7 and Sept. 5, but only five were actual property transfers; the rest were homestead declarations, a sewage disposal notice, and a conservation order. Of the five transfers, only one disclosed a price: $66,690, for a Westhampton property sold by Kenneth Andrews to Michael E. and Lynanne M. Novak on Aug. 14. Other transfers included two properties on Main Road, one bank-to-buyer sale at 302 Main Rd., and a same-family trust transfer at 29 Hathway Rd. Limited price disclosure makes broader market conditions difficult to gauge this period.
