Westhampton approves solar contract for elementary school facility

Westhampton Select Board approves school solar contract, three other major votes. The board unanimously approved a photovoltaic installation contract for Westhampton Elementary School with Chair Susan Bronstein authorized to execute via DocuSign, alongside a joint Community Development Block Grant application with the Town of Chesterfield and Hilltowns CDC and a Veterans Benefits Memorandum of Understanding with the City of Easthampton. The board deferred action on the Hampshire County Group Insurance Trust's 12.48 percent premium increase for fiscal 2027 to its March 9 meeting, pending a presentation from Town Treasurer Ryan Mailloux.
