WESTHAMPTON — Selectboard approves $500,000 tax override for fiscal 2027 schools and town services. The board voted unanimously to place the override question on an April 11 special election ballot. Selectboard Chair Susan Bronstein and members Jennifer Milikowsky and Scott Johndrow stated that the structural budget deficit requires either significant cuts to services or a substantial override to remain sustainable.
The board also unanimously appointed Cooper Alexander as Transfer Station Assistant beginning March 4, 2026, and offered the Municipal Accountant position to Hetel Patel effective March 7, 2026. All four actions passed unanimously.
