WESTHAMPTON — Select Board approves Highway Department posting following Don Fox's death. At its January 28 meeting, the Westhampton Select Board authorized the position posting. Selectboard member Scott Johndrow raised concerns about deficiencies in town contracts; Town Coordinator Douglas Finn noted he is developing standardized contract terms for all town contracts.
The board discussed two solar photovoltaic array projects: an existing installation on the public safety complex and a proposed ground-mounted array for the Elementary School. Police Chief David White commended the Highway Department for its storm response.
