Westhampton library trustees prepare strategies for protecting core services if a Proposition 2.5 override fails. Director Meaghan Schwelm reported February circulation of 1,671 items, down from 1,742 a year prior, and outlined consulting with EveryLibrary to prioritize services serving vulnerable populations during potential budget cuts. The board approved minutes and adjournment unanimously.
The Friends of the Westhampton Library are preparing a statement on the override's impact. Trustee Alison Thirkield will revise the library's Meeting Room and Social Media policies.
