Finance Committee eyes FY 2027 budget cuts alongside $500,000 override question

WESTHAMPTON — Finance Committee plans budget review for $500,000 override vote. Chaired by Tad Weiss, the committee heard from Jennifer Milikowsky that the Select Board voted to present the override question on the April 11 ballot. The Finance Committee approved the February 25 minutes unanimously and directed a line-by-line budget review of the FY 2027 budget, with department heads from Police, Fire, and Public Works invited to the March 11 meeting to present budget scenarios with and without the override.
