Finance Committee defers action on regional school budget, capital articles.

Finance Committee · Meeting of May 4, 2026

Westhampton Finance Committee backs revolving-fund articles, defers regional-school recommendation. The seven-member committee voted unanimously to approve Articles 2, 3, and 5 and to recommend the municipal budget 6-0-1 on May 4. The committee also voted unanimously to defer capital articles 8 through 11, though members discussed potential police cruiser replacement and agreed the Stabilization Fund would be the appropriate funding source if the purchase advances.
