Conservation Commission meets to plan spring informational sessions

WESTHAMPTON — The Westhampton Conservation Commission approved prior minutes and scheduled two informational presentations for spring. The board confirmed a special meeting on March 25 to host a presentation and public hearing on a Bundled Notice of Intent filed by the Department of Public Works and Highway Department, with senior environmental planner Angela Panaccione of the Pioneer Valley Planning Commission presiding. A Mass Mapper informational session with the Highland Land Trust is set for April 1.
Sarah Welch of the Highland Land Trust will discuss management plans and monitoring for the town's recently acquired conservation restriction properties west of the town center.
