Westhampton Conservation Commission halts work on Main Road property over wetlands violations. The board ordered an immediate halt to unauthorized work at 412 Main Road, where property owner Sean Jeffords completed grading, erosion control, rock walls, and stone work within the resource area buffer zone without permission. Jeffords must provide property delineation before proceeding; the commission, the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection, and Pioneer Valley Planning Commission will determine remediation requirements.
The commission also continued the Bundled Notice of Intent hearing for the Town Highway Department and a culvert-repair notice of intent hearing to June 3.
